A bit more on Chinese New Year 2010

Lately due to chinese new year, I have pretty much in holiday cruise mode even at the work place, which is pretty bad though. Some more I haven’t updated the photo that I meant to upload. . .  so today I better upload some before I get even more lazier :p

Here is our family photo for 2009, due to my two brother + family wasn’t around. So it is quite a small group, hopefully next year I can get a even better family photo :)

Today, Mary invited us for her open house after our breakfast, so we happily obligate ourselves to accept her invitation >w<

As usual, always enjoyed the foods + company of fellowship with some photo taken.

Happy Chinese New year

 

First day of Chinese New year, been pretty relax for me though. Spending almost a hour to take family portraits, especially for our ladies >w< It is also during this portrait session I realized I have so much more to learn about body posing, studio shoot. The lack of equipments + knowledge + experience do really reflect on this time. Nevertheless, once I done with the photo touch up, I do hope that my brother & the kids will like it.

Anyway, for the 1st day of Chinese new year, I decided to go easy with my visiting and only visited a few places.

Obviously that my stomach was filled with foods & drink from various home, but it was a pretty sitting down, eating, chit chatting with one another.

年三十

年三十 in direct translation to english will be year 30 or a more proper translation will be year end. It is usually the last day of chinese lunar calendar before the Chinese new year. It is also the time that family from various place gather together in one root and have a reunion dinner. Too bad that this year 2 of my brother is overseas and wouldn’t be able to celebrate this dinner together as  a family. Hopefully next year they will be able to come back for the chinese new year, I am pretty sure my dad and mum will love to see them for this special occasion.

Sony KDL-40w5500 in the room!!!

I been wanting a HDTV in my room for quite a while. Easily over 3 years? Some how this year I really feel like getting a LCD for some reason, so I have been doing quite a fair bit of marketing and research around the Brunei market. Since getting a LCD oversea wasn’t a smart move at all even though they might be cheaper.

After all the research, marketing, reading review etc, I have finally pull my plug on the 40inch Sony LCD.  When the kid found out that i got a 40inch HDTV, they were like “OMG!!!” “WTH!!!” “How can this fit into your room!!?” “I so jealous!!!” etc etc.

As for me, i am pretty excited and happy to finally get one of my dream setup done in my room. So gonna move on with life and full fill my other small little dream step by steps. Of course I want to thank Him for the provision and guidance (I think I am more like those kid that forcing my dad to buy for me even though He don’t want to >w<)

Thought i already found some inconveniences with using such a big HDTV, nevertheless I am still pretty drill with it. I may provide a more in depth personnel review, but for a more professional review for this beast, google is still your best bet. ^w^  

Some random stuffs

 

After I explore and realized what photo opportunity at the root top on a open car park can give me, I decided to ask the guys and gals for a few quick snap. Since we are hungry and wanted to go for lunch, while it didn’t turn out to the way I wanted, I feel that result still consider satisfactory.

They claim to have a heart shape cloud in there, but I just can’t find it! Do they have too much of “Spot the Mickey" game from Cartoon Network?

1 month has passed

It has been a month since we have our 3 new additional family, now they are able to walk for a short distance and play among themselves. We still can’t decided the name yet, since they are still pretty small atm, but they are so freaky cute!!!

Somehow small puppy have a magical charm that charm any single one on earth (especially to dog lover), whatever they do you will just adore and think it is cute. Even they start peeing anyway, you will tolerate it coz you will said they are still young, don’t know what they are doing….. but once they start getting older. . . .

It just remind me that we do the same thing to baby and kids. Hmmm.. what to do? Life itself is a learning experience that one can never live alone. When we are kid, we talk like a child, speak like a child and think like a child. But once we grow up, we have to throw our childishness away and begin to reason like a grow up. Since we can’t no longer live by milk alone and needed solid foods for our daily needs.

Errr… don’t know why suddenly feel like keying all this thoughts in? But still it is so true.

This is the photo that I gave to Grace as a gift to celebrate her birthday this years. It has been few week over her birthday already, so I hope she don’t mind me posting me or else I gonna delete this post before I got a real kick from her :p

Anyway, it is a pretty interested journey to see her grow, well she still have plenty of opportunity and potential waiting for her. So we will see what He have install for her ^w^
