Tire

It has been over 2 week now after having 2 of our youth joining us for the work. It is definitely challenging and stressful to me. Especially during this period of time that I got lot’s of work to deal with, costing me not having enough time to teach them (some more I’m not a good teacher to begin with) to help out the work properly, and seeing them not having proper attitude for the work, it just gave me a lot of stress (need to pray for more patients, or is this the answer prayer God give me?) :p I can’t blame them, they are here as the attachment, receiving not pay first time step into the work environment, with this limited time I don’t think I can change their mind set and way of living dramatically. Put that aside, I get to learn about myself in different perspective. I am more of a lone ranger (hope this is the correct way to call it?) myself when it come to work. I’m too use to working by my own during this few year that I’m not use to having sub-coordinate to follow me around. It also causing me to think why I am involving in youth ministry, music ministry and etc all this year, and having the feeling that I lose my reason for why I am serving in this ministry, or maybe I should said that I am losing my passion for the work that God have give me? (gonna need a lot of refocus I suppose)

Hmm… let’s change topic. Our youth will be heading to limbang again to visit the church one more time this year, this time for the purpose to help out our Sunday school ministry since there going to have a camp there and also to bless the body in limbang. Looking forward how God will move through us and to us this time. ^__^

Tap dancing in penguin style

Music + Singing + Tap Dancing + 3D Animation + Penguin = Happy Feet

When I first saw the trailer of this movie, I know I will watch this show in anyway, seeing penguin doing rap, singing pop music and tap dancing just pure amusing. As you can expect from Hollywood, it packed with one of the most realistic 3D animation with great music.

Story: Sad to say, it just follows the typical American cartoon formula. Hero born with special ability that the family/tribe that cannot accept, after going through various hardship and events and turn from a zero to a hero at the end. So typical lah.

If you are looking for great story that going to break you to tears. Hmm, I suggest you go else where lia lah. This show is plainly for entertaining and keeps you happy and smiling through out the show. So sit back and relax yourself if you gonna watch this movie. If watching movie is expensive for you, rent it also can. Overall: 7/10

Cooking Contest

For the very first time, we have a mini cooking contest for the youth. Terence is the one who come out with the idea, and prepare all the stuff. Thank You Terence!!! You are great. :) He is the man never fail to marvel me with all his interesting and creative ideas, just make me envy sometime >w<
Anyway, we separate them into their usual grouping, and thank God, Emily and Mary (fully qualify mum) is there, so we can ask them to supervise one of the group, instead of asking the youth to make it by their own. Since they all share the same ingredients, they make salad, spaghetti and corn soup. The result was very impress; once I got the photo from Terence I will upload it for your viewing pleasure.

We have a great time to enjoy the foods, and time of fellowship. Cooked by the youth ok!!! Even some of the parents didn’t have chances to taste it. XD

Gluttony Royale

Picture speak better than a thousand words, just by looking at the picture itself, you all should know that I goanna talk about the latest James bond movie. To be honest, I not a James Bond fans, and I have no intention at all to watch this movie. Even to the point I reject my church member invitations Then come my friend, being a movie freak though not interested to watch, but after hearing good reports and reviews from various source, decided to ask me go together, which suppose to watch sat, but the show was fully book so we change it to today. I told my church friends that I will be watching with my other friend and if Esther found out she goanna kill me. Right after I came out from the cinema, I saw her with others. My~~~ just can’t hide man… Anyway, I didn’t get kill, just got some beating and scar all over. (Joking only ah, please >w<>w< )

After watching the movie, I must say I’m impressed!!! Still James Bond the invincible spy, great car (astro martin GT), and a hot chick >w< style=""> Jacky Chan should ask him on his next movie.

Second things is that, you see bond got scar all over his body in this show, which hardly happen on the previous show, not much gadget this time, but with much better plot, twist and dialog. This time is much more realistic then any of the previous James Bond, I really enjoy this show. IMO, I will give it 8/10

So what does it do with gluttony??? We watched the 4:45 show, so naturally we are hungry after the show end at around 7:15pm. We decided to go Charcoal for dinner, since we haven’t take steak for quite a while. I ordered a T-bone steak, a blueberry cheesecake with ice cream and a cappuccino. My friend while not intention to eat cake saw my cheese cake decide to order also. Talking about trying to resist temptation and gluttony come in? :p Anyway, good food, but definitely not cheap, altogether my meal cost around $30.

Lunch with various bodies

Today, it was an honor invited by agape to have a lunch with them, Pastor Chris and various youth leaders from various churches. This is one of the very first times various youth leaders ever meet together for a meal. It was a wonderful meal, not just because of the foods. But man I must say the serving is HUGE!!! Almost like Aussie standard, we have soup with garlic bread, salad with chicken, a beef rib with potato and coleslaw then end with dessert and coffee. I was very tempted to take photo of all we ate, but better don’t :p

But the main purpose of this meeting is not because of the foods, but to be able to meet various leader from different churches, share with them what you do and what they do, and knowing that from today onward we can find way to communicate with one another. All together, we have various leaders from 6 churches in this meeting. I don’t say this is unheard but definitely very rare in this land. I was also very encouraged by the sharing from the leaders and the pastor, which change my perspective and see how God can move. I pray and believe that this will not be the end, but a new start of event where God can move.

I also want to thank my boss for allow me to take a short leave for this meal, the meeting start from 12pm and i left the place at around 2:30pm.

Upgrade to be a supervisor?

Hmmm... Indeed this is totally unexpected and surprise to me. Receive a phone call from sister engmei asking which floor is our office is, then later on I saw her bringing Joasis with her. Later on, we realized that Joasis will be working with us as a short term helper, and automatically he was assign under me. For those who got no ideas who is Joasis, he is the son of brother Ooi (hello!!!! Isn’t that obvious he is the son of someone??) He is studying in st.andrew school as a form 3 student, and is one of our youth group members. So he gonna see me Monday to Sunday include youth meeting >w< He will be helping us for the next 3month during his school holiday, so now he will observe me how I do things daily, pray and hope that I can be a good example and teacher to him. Then, I hear from Michael our sale manager, Stephen son Joel might be joining us as well. Oh my~~~ sound like I gonna have a tough time to went by to take care our 2 youth with me??? Maybe I seriously need to pray for more strength, wisdom and patients lia.

Modified Layout

After numerous trials and errors, digging into internet for research and info, finally I gaze the ideas on how to modify the CSS and change it to 3 column layout while maintain the original look of this blog.

TOYS!!!

After almost 2 weeks of waiting, my toys finally arrived. Got the call from post office officer yesterday to go and collect my stuffs.
I was excited when I went to collect the stuffs; altogether there are 3 Fix Figuration Gundams. 1st Gundam Strike Freedom, 2nd Gundam Ex-S and 3rd Gundam Destiny. My friend bought me one, while the other 2 I order it myself. Thanks man for the presence!!! I didn’t have chances to take a photo for my collections, since my parents bring the camera with them for the Canada trips (2months!!!). So as for now, I don’t think I can upload much photo at this time being.
Every time when I got new stuffs; like guitar, mp3, toys or even new knowledge, I was thrilled with excitement. Just like how kids response when they got their new toys, so I think at the end I still have a kid heart in me. However, I didn’t know this is good or not, I know that my journey for collecting new gears wouldn’t end here. So more $$ gonna fly out from my wallet >w<

Come across this while doing some random surfing and digging. A cube shape G5!!! While it was built on 2003 with unknow spec. But it still amaze me how creative people mind is, and what they can come out with.

Birthday Dinner Round2

Birthday dinner Round 2!!! You can never have too little blessing from God, even now a bit late, this is regarding the dinner we have in aunte Jenny house on sunday evening. Mainly this is organize by Tiew Lee (thanks Tiew Lee) for the birthday boys&girls born in Oct&Nov. As usual, good foods + good friends = Great time
I enjoy it a lot, and really want to thanks all my friends taking the effort to rem my birthday. Thank God for all their blessing and times.

Death Note Movie

Went to watch Death Note movie with my friend yesterday. If you don't know what this movie is about or reviews, just went to goggle and search for it. I think there are enough posts regarding this movie.
For those hoping to see an exact copy from the manga in live actions, i must say that you will be disappointed, there are some major changes in the plot and settings in order to fit into 2hrs, and the character doesn't really fit. How can raye became a japanese in the movie?
Personally i'm disappointed with the whole show, most of the jp actor/actress cant really act, cutting too many detail to fit the whole story, and the overall shows is not really that entertaining. If you have read the manga, i give 6/10 else 6.5/10; maybe i just demand too much from it? :p

My First OverDrive Pedals

Didn't put it into my post yesterday, since the dinner is more important, and i having good time playing with my new OD pedal. I plugged this into the FX loop of my MFX, then go straight to my headset. I'm impress with how much it can add to the existing tune of the amp, just sayang that this is not true bypass.

Birthday Dinner

I have a wonderful meals tonight at home, while my family celebrating my birthday. Just too bad i didn't realise it, or else i will try to ask carol to shift the practice to another day. Anyway, just give it to God.
We have steam chicken, alsam fish, mix vege, chichken soup and chicken wine. Home cook foods is always better than restaurant, especially for my house, hahaha. Black forest ice cream cake for my birthday. The foods was finished before i even got change to take a photo of it. :)
End of the practice, my partners sang one time birthday song for me also. I was touch >w<

Finally November

After struggle through myself for a big spending last month, finally I get over it and here is Nov. If you all not sure what I talking about, basically I live myself with less than $300 for the whole month. Thanks and praise God that He get me through it with minimum spending, and time to time again He have show Himself faithful, and also provide for me free meals time after time.
And now I’m gassing for new stuffs, and I have fall for it. I will update the blog once I get my hands on it. At this time, I will keep it secretly for you all. Except those who know it.
